Family Album: The Story of Our Lives with Bobby Abrahamson
In this fun and motivating multi-session photographic workshop we will explore doing personal documentary work, photographing your life, home, relationships and daily activities with sense of its meaning/significance. (The seemingly mundane and ordinary activities of our life are imbued with meaning and significance when photographed with heartfelt observation.) You will work toward producing a hand-finished photographic book or “family album” from your project.
Participants will meet as a group for three separate day-long Saturday sessions. In addition, they will have the chance to meet one-on-one with Bobby for more personalized instruction on the Sundays following the Saturday group sessions.
There also will be remote sessions via Zoom in between the meetings in Spray and students will be able to share work and get individualized feedback via email with Bobby.
