Creative Heights Artist Residency: Watercolor Painting with Leslie Barnum

Join acclaimed watercolor artist Leslie Barnum as she shares her techniques with us in two sessions:
Saturday, June 7th 9am – 12pm
Take the intimidation out of watercolor by experimenting and playing as you paint. This 3 hour workshop will begin with learning basic watercolor techniques. During the second half of the workshop students will create their own landscape painting to take home. This class is appropriate for students with no prior experience or those with very little experience in watercolor.
Saturday, June 7th 1pm – 5pm
We will focus on painting flowers during this workshop. Students may bring their own photo reference or choose from one provided. Leslie will talk about creating a strong composition, value study and color scheme. This workshop is appropriate for students who have previous watercolor skills.
